DARREN GODDARD

Darren started racing karts at 9, moving to the motocross scene in country Victoria, with racing in his blood thanks to his father Greg Goddard.

Greg was a hugely respected mechanic and engineer within the early days of production and open wheel racing in Australia. Darren lived and breathed cars growing up, running wrecking yards and completing his diesel apprenticeship through Volvo. What Darren doesn’t know about cars isn’t worth knowing.

With his love of planes and flying Darren is just as comfortable in the air as he is on the ground. Darren has also been very successful in the budget endurance racing scene with his giant killing Audi A4. Not for its raw speed but its reliability and fuel economy which see’s him on the podium more often than not.

Darren runs a successful school bus company in Hervey Bay in between building race cars and his brain is always thinking of the next build.
