Car 112 took out class victory and 2nd outright! With great strategy and incredible fuel economy they yet again took line honors in their class.

Darren Goddard and Michael Parlato shared the car for the 7 hour GOAT enduro which turned out to be one of the most grueling races we have endured.

With temperatures over 32 degrees driver fatigue was very serious, Lakeside is a demanding track where the driver is constantly busy and with 35 cars on track there is never a dull moment.

Car 710 with Shane Logan and Bill Goulding had great pace early in the race and after starting around 15th had made their way to the lead by their first pitstop and had opened up a gap of 3 laps before contact with the tyre barrier at the Karrussell derailed the chances of a win.

The car was still driveable but down on power and missing the front undertray, despite this they fought all race long and finished the race 5th in clsss and 11th outright.

Unfortunately for AJRacing and Laszlo in the 707 teething problems continued with the new car with boost issues early in the race dropping them way down the order. They managed to get it sorted and get some good laps under their belts but some other issues made it a pretty tough day for the guys finishing 12th in class and 26th outright.

And with just 15 mins to go in the race the heavens opened with a torrential downpour reeking havoc on track. A red flag was shown and the race declared after numerous cars ended up in the fence on the back straight.

That was our last event of the year but we will be back next year with some exciting new cars and a race in Townsville at the brand new DriveIt facility.

Thanks for following along all year,

Team Steinard and 710 Motorsport
